Welcome to portal of the National Contact Point (hereinafter "NCP") for cross-border healthcare in the Slovak Republic

The Health Care Surveillance Authority as NCP provides insured persons with information on rights and entitlements to the cross-border healthcare, reimbursement of costs, complaints procedures and mechanisms taken in place in order to seek remedies in accordance with the Slovak legislation as well as with the European legislation. The insured person may receive general information and/or information on request via NCP portal.

The NCP portal provides general information in order to help insured persons to make an informed choice when they seek to receive health care in another Member State. It is also possible to fill in a request for information and send it to the NCP via its portal.

Information on the concrete health care provider, its professional specialisation, licence and authorisation status, contact data and also accessibility of health care facilities for persons with disabilities can be also searched via portal.
